Logistics Audit Program
The logistics audit program
is designed to compare the client's logistics performance, practices,
systems, and organization with world-class standards. The framework for the
audit is our logistics planning pyramid. Our sources include a client
database of over 100 performance and practice
profiles, the Logistics Performance Report developed jointly with Chilton
Publishing, and the Logistics Practices Report developed in conjunction with
the Logistics Challenge Group. A team of two LRI principals typically
conducts the audit. The audit requires between two and four weeks to complete
and relies on the client's completion of forms provided in our Logistics
Audit Workbook. The deliverables include a performance, practices, systems,
and organization gap analysis; short and long term recommendations; savings
projections associated with recommended logistics initiatives; and a
logistics master planning project plan.
